A vibratory feeder offers the advantage of being able to meter and control product, and as such is often used to discharge onto belts or to fill scrap or recycled materials such as plastics, paper, cardboard, woodchip and glass, into containers or to store and fill hoppers. With the ability to design a unit to suit the amount of product that requires handling, a vibrating feeder is often used in recycling and waste applications to break down bulk loads into manageable streams and for sorting equipment feeds.

A vibrating conveyor designed with twin motor drives and rugged construction is ideally suited to the recycling industry. With low power consumption, but high volume feeding, a vibratory conveyor is often used to efficiently convey recycled and waste materials across a plant and to evenly distribute product to magnetic separators.

A vibrating screen offers the waste, scrap and recycling industries the ability to sort and separate materials into individual size fractions through sizing and grading. Dewatering is another common application within the recycling industry - removing liquids from recycled plastic bottles, tin containers and liquids from glass beer and wine bottles before recycling. A vibratory screen can be made with low wear components specifically suited to handling heavy materials, and to aid in time efficiency a linear action design conveys materials onto the next process whilst screening, and can be made to suit a pre-existing line.

A compacting table is often used within a filling and weighing system, below an FIBC (bulk bag, big bag) in order to compact recycled parts. This settling increases the efficiency and speed of filling, and ensures that the bag is fully filled to the required level. This is particularly effective with small plastic parts, but is suitable to most recycled, waste or scrap materials. A table can be designed to hold a pallet, and to be loaded by both a fork lift or pallet truck.
